Mixer

This view is only available on phones!

The mixer screen can act both as a DAW mixer and as a generic MIDI controller.
By default it is in DAW control mode, showing mute and solo buttons plus eight user assignable function keys. Mute and Solo buttons can be changed to Arm and Edit by tapping into the text display. For channel selection you can alternatively double-click a fader.
Press the Flip button to assign what is normally controlled by a channel's endless encoder to the fader (this requires support for flipping from the DAW).
The double arrow keys let you move the currently active channel block over the DAW's mixer. Additionally you can explicitly overscroll the scrollpane to send banking commands (v.2.08+). Banking assignments are adjustable in the setup.

The function keys over the text display can be assigned with any DAW control function available on the tablet interface. Please refer to the F-Keys page for details.
In landscape mode function keys are hidden by default. This is to present more channels at a time without the need to scroll, but you can opt for always having them visible in the setup.

Finally there are some basic timeline and window navigation functions available in a floating window brought up with the icon in the upper right corner of the control area. This also gives access to automation functions..

The shift button toggles between MIDI and DAW control mode, In MIDI mode the mixer sends to the app's second output and also reads input from there. MIDI mode has it's own flipping functionality and allows to switch between Solo / Mute and Arm / Edit buttons just like DAW control mode.

MIDI assignments for the separate controls are read from xml files and are editable both in the app as well as by editing said xml. Please refer to the separate instructions on editing MIDI assignments.
